VANCOUVER, WA (November 8, 2022) – Police confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 500 on November 6.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near Northeast Andresen Road shortly before 10:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim walked into a lane from the center median prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a Lexus LS 460 that was heading west on the highway struck him.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced the male pedestrian dead at the scene. Officers did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the Lexus was not hurt and stayed at the scene. WSP said the driver cooperated with them.
 
As of now, the investigation into the case remains ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
