Motorcyclist Katerina Penrose Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (December 28, 2023) – The Phoenix Police Department identified 31-year-old Katerina Penrose who died in a motorcycle accident on 13th Street on December 14.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Thunderbird Road around 5:00 PM. Based on the report, Penrose was riding her motorcycle westbound on Thunderbird Road when another vehicle hit her after turning in front of her.
 
The other vehicle drove away from the crash and police are still searching for the driver.
 
When officers arrived, they found Penrose with serious injuries. First responders took her to the hospital, where she later died.
 
Investigations ask anyone with information to contact Silent Witness to leave an anonymous tip.
