BEAUMONT, TX (January 5, 2023) – Officials identified 30-year-old Justin Stanford of Louisiana as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on College Street on December 29.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened in the 5900 block of College Street. Based on a report, Stanford was trying to cross the street at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a Dodge Challenger going westbound hit him.
 
As a result, Stanford after sustaining severe injuries in the incident.
 
Also, the accident closed all westbound lanes of College Street for a period of time while officials worked on the scene.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation.
