Juan Pedroza Identified in Fatal San Antonio Crash on East Southcross

 
SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 30, 2023) – The Bexar County Medical Examiner identified 20-year-old Juan Pedroza who died in a head-on crash on East Southcross on October 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at South WW White Road around 12:15 PM. Based on a report, Pedroza was speeding westbound on East Southcross at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he drove over the double yellow lines and struck an eastbound truck head-on.
 
As a result, Pedroza sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
SAPD said the truck’s driver, a man believed to be in his mid-60s, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Crews took him to the hospital for treatment.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
