Josie Rivera and Carla Glines Killed, Three Injured after Bisbee Crash

 
BISBEE, AZ (June 27, 2024) — Two women identified as Josie Rivera and Carla Glines died in a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 80 on Thursday, June 13.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the fatal collision took place on Highway 80 near mile post 344 on Thursday afternoon.
 
Arizona DPS said the women rode in a KIA Optima. Then it swerved into the oncoming lane and struck a Silverado pickup. After that, that truck crashed into a Toyota Camry.
 
Authorities identified the two women as 82-year-old Josie Rivera and 68-year-old Carla Glines. Both of them were from Benson.
 
The 45-year-old male driver of the Optima sustained critical injuries. Officers said he may face charges in connection with the accident.
 
The drivers of the Silverado and Camry had minor injuries.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
