Joshua Auguh Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Vehicles in Laveen Village

 
LAVEEN VILLAGE, AZ (August 22, 2023) – Officers identified 34-year-old Joshua Auguh who died in a pedestrian died accident on 51st Avenue on August 6.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Baseline Road at approximately 9:00 PM. Based on a report, Auguh was crossing mid-block across Baseline Road when a car hit him.
 
Following the first incident, witnesses said the victim tried to pick up his items. At that point, a second vehicle hit him again.
 
As a result, Auguh sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
Both drivers left the scene and detectives did not yet provide a description of their vehicles.
