Jorge Sanchez Juarez Dies After Concord Car Crash on Highway 4

 
CONCORD, CA (September 7, 2022) – Jorge Sanchez Juarez died following an incident of a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 4 early Monday morning, August 15.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) said that they received a report of a three-car collision on eastbound Highway 4 at Willow Pass Road. The fatal accident involved a yellow Chevrolet Camaro, a white Honda Accord, and a blue Chevrolet Suburban.

The Camaro was being driven by Juarez, authorities said.

Witnesses of the accident reported that the Camaro attempted to overtake the Accord, but ended up hitting it. The Accord stopped, but the Camaro continued driving until the Suburban hit it from behind.

18-year-old Juarez died at the scene, authorities confirmed.

As a result, the driver of the Suburban suffered minor injuries, while the driver of the Camaro was not injured.

Officials from the CHP closed down all eastbound lanes and diverted motorists onto Willow Pass Road. The lanes reopened after 3:50 a.m.
