Jordon Beggs Dead in Highway 287 Crash after Exiting Vehicle after Argument with Wife

 
FORT WORTH, TX (November 30, 2023) — A man officials identified as Jordon Jacob Beggs died after a crash following an argument with his wife.
 
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the incident happened on the southbound lanes of Highway 287 near Blue Mound Road at around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, November 11.
 
When officers arrived, they said found a man in the grassy median on the northbound side of the highway. First responders administered medical help. However, the man succumbed to his injuries and they pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office released his identity as 28-year-old Jordon Jacob Beggs, of Watauga.
 
Officials said Beggs and his wife argued as they pulled over. The victim allegedly got out of the vehicle. After that, he tried to cross the highway when a separate vehicle struck him.
 
Police said the driver of that other car remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. There are no expected charges at this time.
