Jonathan Vergne-Negron Identified in Fatal Killeen Motorcycle Accident

 
KILLEEN, TX (November 21, 2023) – Officials identified 31-year-old Jonathan Emill Vergne-Negron of Copperas Cove who died in a motorcycle accident on 14 Freeway on November 14.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Clear Creek Road just after 3:00 AM. Based on a report, Vergne-Negron was driving when he stood up on his motorcycle, lost control, and fell off.
 
Negron’s wife was following him as he crashed and stopped to help him. While she assisted him out of the roadway, a 32-year-old male from Copperas Cove was driving a Toyota Camry and approaching the crash scene. Subsequently, the man hit Vergne-Negron.
 
As a result, Vergne-Negron suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
