Johnny Aguilar Identified in Fatal Hit-and-Run on West Dallas Street in Houston

 
HOUSTON,TX (November 17, 2022) – Police identified Johnny Aguilar as one of the victims who died in a hit-and-run crash on West Dallas Street on November 13.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Montrose Boulevard shortly after 2:00 AM. Based on a report, a Maserati and a Jeep Grand Cherokee were traveling at a high rate of speed when they collided.
 
Subsequently, the impact caused the Maserati to swerve off the roadway and crash into a utility pole and a restaurant patio. The Jeep then lost control and struck a utility pole.
 
The driver and passengers in the Jeep fled the scene of the crash.
 
As a result, Aguilar and another passenger in the Maserati died at the scene. Aguilar’s family set up a GoFundMe to raise money for funeral expenses.
 
The driver of the Maserati and a third passenger suffered unknown injuries.
 
As of now, the crash remains under investigation to identify the occupants of the Jeep.
