John Patrick Thorpe Harmed and Arrested After Santa Rosa DUI Crash
SANTA ROSA, CA (February 17, 2025) – John Patrick Thorpe was injured and arrested following a DUI crash on Hahman Drive and Magowan Drive on Thursday evening, February 6.
According to the Santa Rose Police Department, the incident happened around 9:10 p.m.
For reasons still unknown, a blue Saturn and a white panel van collided, police said. The Saturn fled the scene but was later located by the authorities.
Police tried to conduct a traffic stop to the Saturn but the driver failed to comply, resulting in a short pursuit. Because of the significant damage to the vehicle from the initial crash, the driver of the Saturn eventually surrendered.
43-year-old Thorpe, the driver of the Saturn suffered minor injuries.
He also showed signs of intoxication when the crash happened and was later arrested.
No additional injuries have been reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
