Susan Ramstedt and John Burleigh Identified in Fatal Crash in Harrison County
ARANSAS PASS, TX (November 3, 2022) – Police identified 68-year-old John Burleigh and 68-year-old Susan Ramstedt as the victims who died in a rollover crash on Oak Lane on October 30.
According to the Texas Safety Department, the collision happened at Highway 35 around 10:40 PM.
Based on a report, the victims were in a vehicle traveling on the highway prior to the crash. Subsequently, Aransas Pass Police Department officers said the pair ran a stop sign. As a result, a vehicle hit their car, causing it to roll onto its roof. It came to a stop in the highway median.
As a result, Ramstedt and Burleigh died at the scene. It is unclear at this time who was driving.
The occupants of the other car were thrown from their vehicle and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
