SPOKANE VALLEY, WA (March 15, 2024) — Authorities arrested 50-year-old Jimmy Munson, of Liberty Lake, after a hit-and-run on Sunday, March 3.
 
According to Washington State Patrol, the accident took place on East Trent Avenue near North Barker Road at about 3:15 p.m.
 
WSP said Munson allegedly drove a green Jeep erratically at a high rate of speed. Then he crashed into the rear of another vehicle and left the scene.
 
The two people in the other vehicle sustained injuries. Paramedics rushed them to the hospital.
 
Officers located and then arrested Munson at a later time.
 
WSP said they suspect drugs and/or alcohol as factors in the incident.
