Major Moses Lake Car Crash on Highway 17

 
MOSES LAKE, WA (August 8, 2023) – 34-year-old Jesus A. Banda, 31-year-old Ezequiel Banda and 27-year-old Rosa Pineda Train are among those who were hurt in a crash on Highway 17 on July 30.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at North Lake Road NE. Based on a report, Banda was traveling eastbound on North Lake Road when he failed to stop at the stop sign.
 
Subsequently, he collided with another vehicle traveling northbound on the highway.
 
As a result, he sustained injuries in the incident. Crews transported him to Samaritan Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
 
The driver of the other vehicle, 39-year-old Kadee L. Hernandez of Ephrata, was also hurt. 19-year-old Joylynn Rodriguez of Moses Lake and four juvenile passengers from his car also sustained injuries.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
