HOUSTON, TX (July 14, 2023) – Harris County deputies arrested 34-year-old Jessica Smith for DUI after a crash in the 21200 block of the Hardy Toll Road on June 30.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the suspect caused a major crash while driving intoxicated. Deputies arrived at the scene and found Smith and her two young children inside the car.
 
Authorities charged her with Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger. They also called Child Protective Services and released the children to a guardian.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
