Jesse Baldenegro Identified in Fatal Crash with Hit-and-Run Driver Guillermo Hernandez-Huerta in Taylor

 
TAYLOR, TX (October 17, 2022) – Police identified 23-year-old Jesse Baldenegro as the victim who died in a hit-and-run crash on West 2nd Street on October 13.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at about 12:23 AM.
 
Based on a report, Baldenegro was driving his motorcycle at a high rate of speed prior to the crash. At that time, 27-year-old Guillermo Hernandez-Huerta was in a pickup truck exiting the parking lot of a hotel. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicles crashed.
 
As a result, the Taylor Police Department said Baldenegro died at the scene.
 
According to a release, Hernandez-Huerta ran from the scene before officers arrived.
 
As of now, the state patrol continues to investigate the case.
