Jeremy Randolph Killed in Maverick County Crash on Highway 277
MAVERICK COUNTY, TX (July 18, 2024) — A 44-year-old man identified as Jeremy Vance Randolph, of Dallas, died in a crash on Tuesday, July 2.
The fatal two-vehicle crash occurred at around 1:15 p.m. on Highway 277 near mile marker 580, 24 miles north of Eagle Pass.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Randolph drove a 2019 white Ford van southbound on Highway 277. Then it collided into a 2019 red Ford F-350 truck moving north.
After that, the F-350′s front left tire to blew out, resulting in the vehicle crossing into the opposite lane.
Randolph sustained critical injuries in the incident and died at Fort Duncan Hospital in Eagle Pass. Texas DPS later confirmed he was a National Guard member.
Responding officers brought the F-350 driver and two passengers to Fort Duncan Medical Center in Eagle Pass for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not immediately available.
DPS Troopers handle the ongoing investigation of the crash. As of writing, there is no further information available.
