Jeremiah Gregg Dead in Warden Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 17

 
WARDEN, WA (February 8, 2024) — 36-year-old Jeremiah Gregg, of Moses Lake, died in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday, February 4.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, at about 2:00 a.m., Grant rear-ended another car on Highway 17, north of Highway 262. Grant’s vehicle then overturned onto its roof.
 
WSP said Grant died at the scene. They said he did not wear his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
 
The driver of the vehicle that Grant rear-ended momentarily stopped at the scene. After that, driver fled after the collision. WSP continues to search for the occupants.
 
WSP handles the ongoing investigation of the cause of the accident. Officials do not know if impairment contributed to the incident.
