Jennifer Trevino Identified in Mercedes Car Crash on Mile 2 Road

 
MERCEDES, TX (February 17, 2023) – Officers identified 35-year-old Jennifer Renee Trevino as the victim who died in a car accident on Mile 2 Road on February 14.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened just north of Mile 8 Road.
 
Based on a report, Trevino was driving a red Dodge Grand Caravan northbound on Mile 2 near the intersection when she failed to control her speed. Subsequently, she struck a black Ford Fusion from behind, pushing it to roll over. Then, her Dodge crashed into a canal.
 
As a result, Trevino suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
It was not clear if there were other injuries sustained in the crash.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
