Jeffrey Husketh Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Accident on FM 2528 in Lubbock

 
LUBBOCK, TX (August 8, 2023) – Officials identified 34-year-old Jeffrey Michael Husketh of Abernathy who died in a motorcycle accident on FM 2528 on July 29.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 9:40 PM about 5.7 miles northwest of Lubbock. Based on a report, Husketh was traveling north on the road at the time of the crash.
 
In front of him was the vehicle of 29-year-old Collin McClendon of Lubbock. Due to unknown reasons, McClendon attempted to a make U-turn and Husketh hits the front of his car.
 
As a result, Husketh sustained grave injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported him to University Medical Center, where he later died.
 
McClendon and his passenger were not hurt.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
