Jeffery Dewey Involved in Pickup Truck Crash in Denison

 
DENISON, TX (February 16, 2024) – The Denison Police Department arrested Jeffery Allen Dewey of Collinsville following a crash on North Austin Avenue on February 11.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at West Gandy Street. Based on a report, Dewey was driving a pickup truck when he collided with another truck near the intersection.
 
It was not clear if there were injuries sustained in the incident.
 
Subsequently, police said Dewey failed a blood draw, indicating intoxication at the time of the crash. They arrested and booked him into the Grayson County Jail with a bond set at $324,000 for charges like driving while intoxicated, criminal mischief, and obstruction or retaliation.
