Two Killed after Plane Crash near Utah-Colorado Line

 
MESA COUNTY, CO (February 16, 2024) — Two people died after a plane crash near the Utah-Colorado Line on Wednesday, February 7.
 
The sheriff’s office said the multi-engine airplane, a Hawker 900XP, took off from Grand Junction Regional Airport at 10:37 a.m. Then it crashed ten minutes later in a remote area near the Utah border.
 
According to Utah’s Grand County Sheriff’s Office, the plane was on the way to Tacoma, Washington,
 
The two occupants of the plane, a pilot and co-pilot, both died in the crash. Their identities are not yet available pending notification of loved ones.
 
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
