Motorcyclist Jed Hernandez Identified in Lubbock Accident on 4th Street

 
LUBBOCK, TX (December 12, 2024) – The Lubbock Police Department identified 22-year-old Jed Hernandez who suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on 4th Street on December 6.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Milwaukee Avenue. Based on a report, Hernandez was traveling north in the 400 block of Milwaukee Avenue before the crash.
 
At the same time, 22-year-old Mary Hirst was driving a vehicle, turning south onto the same road. Due to unknown reasons, her car collided with Hernandez’s motorcycle.
 
As a result, Hernandez sustained major injuries in the incident. He was transported to the University Medical Center by EMS with serious injuries.
