Motorcyclist Jason Collins Identified in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Accident in Whitney

 
WHITNEY, TX (August 20, 2024) – The Hill County Sheriff’s Office identified 52-year-old Jason Collins who died in a motorcycle accident in the 800 block of E. Jefferson Avenue on August 5.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 5:11 PM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a motorcycle when he collided with two other vehicles.
 
As a result, Collins suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The Texas Highway Patrol, Whitney Fire Department, and EMS did not report other injuries in the crash.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
