Jamie Slocum Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Scottsdale

 
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (January 20, 2023) – Scottsdale police identified 52-year-old Jamie D. Slocum as the victim who was struck and killed by a bus on Scottsdale Road on January 10.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Thunderbird Road around 7:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, Slocum was lying was already in the middle of the road prior to the crash. Subsequently, a public transit bus heading south on Scottsdale hit him.
 
As a result, Slocum was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Police did not yet release any details surrounding what prompted the victim to lie on the road.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
