James Means, Cici Means, and Allen Wesenberg Dead in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 327

SILSBEE, TX (February 14, 2024) — Three people identified as James Means, Cici Means, and Allen Wesenberg died in a motorcycle accident on Friday, February 2.

According to Texas DPS, the fatal crash happened on Highway 327 at about 6:30 p.m. The DUI suspect, 50-year-old Brenon Proulx, crashed into two Harley Davidson motorcycles on Highway 327.

A father and daughter were on one of the motorcycles. Reports said 12-year-old Cici Means and her dad, James, died following the crash.

Reports said James died at the scene and Cici died at the hospital. Loved ones created a GoFundMe for the bereaved family.

Officers then described the other two victims as Allen Wesenberg and his 7-year-old son, Aiden Wesenberg. They said Allen succumbed to his injuries and then died at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics rushed Aiden to Texas Children’s Hospital. As of now, he is recovering at home with a broken leg.

There are two GoFundMe pages set up for the Wesenberg family. One is organized by Sunny Clowers and the other by Misty Turner.

At this time, authorities charged Proulx with one count of Intoxication Manslaughter and three counts of Intoxication Assault. However, they will eventually upgrade his two of the Intoxication Assault charges because Cici and Allen died at a hospital.

During this time of profound loss, our law firm offers our sincerest condolences to the families of James Means, Cici Means, and Allen Wesenberg.
