Jaime Medina Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Highway 107 at North Sharp Road in Edinburg

 
EDINBURG, TX (January 15, 2024) – Officials identified 43-year-old Jaime Medina who died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 107 on January 8.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at North Sharp Road at approximately 9:52 PM. Based on a report, Medina tried to cross a road and failed to give the right of way to a white 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport.
 
Subsequently, that vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, Medina suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The female driver of the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport stopped and cooperated with authorities.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
