Israel Josaiah Fatally Injured in T-Bone Accident in El Paso

 
EL PASO, TX (November 8, 2024) — A 24-year-old man identified as Israel Josaiah died in a T-Bone Accident on Sunday, October 27.
 
According to the El Paso Police Department, the crash occurred on the 11200 block of Edgemere Boulevard at around 2:44 a.m.
 
The initial investigation determined that a 19-year-old driver traveled in a truck westbound on the 11200 block of Edgemere Boulevard. At the same time, Josaiah was in a southbound vehicle on the 3400 block of War Arrow Place.
 
Josaiah approached the intersection. Then he turned onto Edgemere Boulevard. However, he failed to yield the right way. As a result, the T-bone accident happened with the truck.
 
EPPD said Josaiah died from sustained injuries in the collision. Meanwhile, paramedics transported his passenger to the hospital with non-critical injuries. Police only identified the passenger as a 19-year-old female.
 
EPPD said the main contributing factor in the incident is the failure to yield the right of way.
 
The incident is the 56th traffic-related death of 2024 under the EPPD’s jurisdiction.
