Isaiah Torres Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Accident on La Homa Road in Palmview

 
PALMVIEW, TX (January 19, 2024) – Officials identified 24-year-old Isaiah Angelo Torres of Mission who died in a motorcycle accident on La Homa Road on January 12.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 10:22 PM. Based on a report, Torres was riding his black Yamaha motorcycle traveling northbound on La Homa Road before the crash.
 
At the same time, a red Chevrolet Cruze was also heading northbound on the center turning lane of the road. Due to unknown reasons, the Chevy tried to make an unsafe right turn onto a private drive when Torres was approaching. At that point, the Chevy crashed into his bike.
 
As a result, Torres suffered grave injuries in the incident. Crews airlifted him to DHR Health in Edinburg, where he later died.
 
The Chevy’s occupants were transported to Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
