Myrna Gonzalez Killed, Three Wanted after Car Crash on Ware Road [Edinburg, TX]

Myrna Gonzalez Identified in Edinburg Car Accident; Julian Hernandez, Gerardo Gutierrez, and Veronica Gutierrez Wanted

 
EDINBURG, TX (January 19, 2024) — A woman identified as 57-year-old Myrna Patricia Gonzalez died in a crash on Saturday, January 13.
 
According to the McAllen police, the accident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. on Ware Road and Monte Cristo Road.
 
McAllen police spokesperson Olivia Lopez said the initial investigation determined a passenger vehicle moved south on Ware Road. Then it turned left onto Monte Cristo Road. At the same time, a pickup truck moved west on Monte Cristo Road. Then the truck hit the passenger car.
 
Gonzalez, who was the driver of the passenger vehicle, died as a result of the crash. The occupants of the pickup truck left the scene on foot.
 
Police continue to search for the three suspects wanted in connection with a vehicle crash. They released their identities as 42-year-old Julian Humberto Hernandez, 20-year-old Veronica Joselin Mariano Gutierrez, and 53-year-old Gerardo Mariano Gutierrez.
 
Official reports said the suspect’s last known address is out of Mission. Witnesses last saw them in an older model single-cab Ford F150 with faded paint.
