Houston Gabriel Olthoff Identified in Fatal Accident in Wise County
WISE COUNTY, TX (September 24, 2024) – Authorities identified 39-year-old Houston Gabriel Olthoff of Fort Worth who died in a two-vehicle accident on September 9.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near FM-407. Based on a report, Olthoff was driving a 2007 Dodge 1500 when he rear-ended a 2015 Peterbilt towing a box trailer.
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to the Medical City Decatur, where he later died.
The driver of the box trailer, 48-year-old Martin Felix Gonzalez-Aceves, who was not hurt.
The preliminary investigation indicated that Olthoff was traveling northbound when the collision occurred.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
