Longmont Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Main Street and 15th Avenue

 
LONGMONT, CO (June 20, 2024) — A hit-and-run accident involving a vehicle and pedestrian occurred on Main Street on Thursday, June 6.
 
According to the Longmont Police Department, the hit-and-run happened at Main Street and 15th Avenue at around 11:15 am.
 
In a Facebook post, Longmont Public Safety said the vehicle is most likely a silver Honda Fit hatchback. They said the vehicle sustained hood and windshield damage.
 
In addition, the post said that following the incident, bystanders last saw the driver moving through the 7-Eleven parking lot and then east on 17th Avenue. They also urged the public to help them find the suspect and the vehicle.
 
As of writing, there are no reports if the pedestrian sustained injuries or died.
 
At around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Longmont Public Safety released an update on their post saying officers have now identified the hit-and-run suspect.
 
The Longmont Police Department urge anyone with information on the incident to contact them at 303-651-8501. When calling, reference case no. 24-5164.
