Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run on Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO, TX (September 23, 2024) – The San Antonio Police Department is now looking for a hit-and-run driver following a fatal pedestrian accident in the 5000 block of Fredericksburg Road on September 6.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near 10 Freeway around 8:45 PM. Based on a report, the victim was in one of the lanes of traffic at the time of the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, a Jeep hit the victim. That driver did stop at the scene. Subsequently, another vehicle struck the victim. The second driver stopped and cooperated with the police.
As a result, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not release the victim’s name
Police are now looking for the hit-and-run driver who will face a charge of Collision Involving -Death.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
