One Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Airport Boulevard in Austin
AUSTIN, TX (September 22, 2022) – Police are now looking for a hit-and-run driver following a deadly pedestrian accident in the 1100 block of Airport Boulevard.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened shortly before 10:00 PM on September 17.
Based on a report, a man was crossing the roadway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle came and hit him. Then, the vehicle drove away, without giving aid to the victim.
As a result, the pedestrian died at the scene. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
