Henry Wiedmeyer Killed in Motorcycle Accident on 10 Freeway [El Paso, TX]

Henry Wiedmeyer Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Accident in El Paso

 
EL PASO, TX (April 29, 2024) – The El Paso Police Department identified 26-year-old Henry John Wiedmeyer of Horizon who died in a motorcycle accident on 10 Freeway on April 16.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened just before midnight. Based on a report, Wiedmeyer was traveling on the freeway at a high rate of speed at the time of the accident.
 
He was trailing behind a semi-truck pulling a 53-foot trailer. Due to unknown reasons, he was unable to slow down in time and struck the rear of the semi-trailer of 50-year-old Arturo Huereque. Huereque was beginning to slow down for traffic at that point.
 
As a result, Wiedmeyer suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
