Greg Sanchez Identified in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash During Sandstorm on Highway 285 in Reeves County
REEVES COUNTY, TX (February 7, 2025) – Officials identified 41-year-old Greg Edward Sanchez of Monahans who died in a crash on Highway 285 on January 17.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 1:00 PM. Based on a report, a sandstorm was causing low visibility in the area.
Sanchez was driving a southbound Toyota Tundra when he struck the back of a semi-truck with a trailer. According to officials, the crash caused the multi-car pileup.
As a result, Sanchez suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
