Gerald Reece Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (June 19, 2023) – The Phoenix Police Department identified 64-year-old Gerald Reece who died in a motorcycle crash on Cave Creek Road on June 9.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Jomax Road around 10:43 AM. Based on a report, the victim was traveling on Cave Creek Road at the time of the crash.
 
At that point, there was stopped car near the intersection. Due to unknown reasons, he struck the back of the car.
 
As a result, Reece sustained grave injuries in the incident. Police said emergency crews transported him to the hospital, where he later died.
 
The driver of the car stayed on scene and did not show sign of impairment.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
