Gabriel Alvarado Identified in Fatal Rollover Accident on FM 1355 in Kingsville

 
KINGSVILLE, TX (January 21, 2025) – Authorities identified 40-year-old Gabriel Alvarado from Bishop who died in a rollover accident on FM 1355 on January 17.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Alvarado was reaching for his cellphone before the crash.
 
He became distracted, causing him to swerve out of his lane and hit a fence. The impact caused the vehicle to roll over several times and eject him onto the road.
 
He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time. As a result, he suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
His passenger was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
