Man Hospitalized after Pedestrian Accident on Arapahoe Road

 
BOULDER, CO (January 15, 2025) — A Frederick man sustained life-threatening injuries in a pedestrian accident on Arapahoe Road on Monday, January 8.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash took place at around 5:41 p.m. at Arapahoe Road and North 75th Street.
 
CSP Trooper Gabriel Moltrer said a Toyota traveled eastbound on Arapahoe Road. Then the pedestrian, standing on the southern edge of the road facing north, stepped into the second lane of travel. The Toyota then struck the pedestrian.
 
Emergency responders transported the 38-year-old injured man to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
The driver of the Toyota did not sustain any injuries in the incident.
 
Authorities have not yet released further details about the condition of the pedestrian.
 
Authorities said there are pending charges.
 
The investigation is still underway.
