Four Die in Fiery Anna Crash on Highway 75
ANNA, TX (September 4, 2024) — Four people died in a fiery multi-vehicle accident on Highway 75 on Friday, August 30.
According to Anna Police Department, the crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. on northbound Highway 75 just past White Street.
The sheriff’s office said five vehicles were part of the collision. One of which caught fire following the accident. However, there are no reports yet on what caused the accident and how it happened.
Reports confirmed that four died as a result of the crash. In addition, they said that at least three people sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials temporarily closed all northbound lanes of Highway 75 near the White Street Exit as officers investigated and crews cleared the scene. They also advised motorists to avoid the area.
