Fouad Shawo, Virgina Nathan Die in Phoenix Multi-Vehicle Accident

 
PHOENIX, AZ (October 8, 2024) — Two people, identified as Fouad Shawo and Virgina Nathan, died in a multi-vehicle accident on Saturday, September 21.
 
According to the Phoenix Police, the crash occurred at about 9:25 a.m. near 15th Avenue and Bell Road.
 
Phoenix Police said Shawo and Nathan, both 85-years-old, traveled west on Bell Road and made a left turn onto 15th Avenue. Then another vehicle traveling east struck them.
 
Shawo and Nathan suffered injuries and later died from their injuries after being hospitalized.
 
Paramedics also rushed the driver of the other vehicle to the hospital for treatment.
 
Phoenix police continue to investigate what caused the crash. As of writing, it is unknown if the other driver will face charges.
