PHOENIX, AZ (October 4, 2024) — 35-year-old Foster Williams died in a pedestrian accident on Friday, September 20.
 
According to the Phoenix Police, the accident occurred near 44th Street and Van Buren Street, just north of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, at about 5:00 a.m.
 
Phoenix Police believe Williams was in the westbound lanes of Van Buren Street. Then two vehicles struck him.
 
When officers arrived, they discovered Williams lying on the road with serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures, he died at the scene.
 
Both drivers stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
Officials closed Van Buren Street from 40th to 44th Street during the investigation.
