Speeding Involved in Maricopa County Car Crash, Forrest Wade Killed
MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ (February 27, 2023) – Officers identified 58-year-old Forrest Wade as the victim who died in a car crash on 19th Avenue on February 22.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Dobbins Road around 5:30 PM. Based on a report, a blue car was going over the speed limit prior to the crash.
Subsequently, it collided with an SUV near the intersection.
As a result, Wade – an occupant in one of the cars – suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to the hospital, where he died.
Crews also took a man and a woman to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Police said the driver of the speeding car was not hurt and stayed at the scene.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
