Fatality Reported After Crash on Interstate 805
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 17, 2025) – A woman was killed following a crash on Interstate 805 early Monday morning, February 10.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at San Ysidro Boulevard at around 6:00 a.m.
Preliminary investigation indicated that a white Honda Accord, operated by a 50-year-old San Diego man, struck a female pedestrian who had been walking on I-805 South.
The woman died at a local hospital.
Meanwhile, the male driver of the Accord did not leave the scene, deciding to cooperate with law enforcement.
