OROVILLE, CA (January 31, 2024) — One pedestrian dead while Felimon Rodriguez is the suspect following a crash on Lincoln Boulevard and Mill Street on January 24.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 5:49 p.m. Based on a report, Rodriguez was driving his 2008 Tacoma along the southbound lanes of Lincoln Boulevard.

Soon after, a man walked along the southbound lanes and Rodriguez failed to stop on time.

Due to impact, the male pedestrian succumbed to injuries and passed away.

Authorities do not believe that intoxication was a factor.
