One Killed, Three Injured in Clovis Rollover Crash on Friant Road

 
CLOVIS, CA (April 25, 2023) – Officers reported a fatal single-vehicle rollover crash on Friant Road on April 21.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Willow Avenue at approximately 2:15 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was driving an SUV on Willow at the time of the crash. For unknown reasons, the vehicle lost control and overturned. Then, the impact ejected the victim and the rolling SUV hit him before it came to a stop on the shoulder.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
Crews transported two passengers to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries. They treated the third and last passenger on the scene.
 
Officers said alcohol, reckless driving, or street racing were possible factors.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are ongoing.
