LAS VEGAS, NV (December 20, 2022) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that a 79-year-old Vegas man died in a pedestrian accident on South Decatur Boulevard on December 15.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at West Charleston Boulevard around 6:00 PM. Based on a report, the man in a motorized wheelchair entered the crosswalk prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a vehicle turned east on Charleston and hit him.
 
As a result, the man suffered severe injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported the victim to University Medical Center, where he later died.
