Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on County Road 2300 in Lubbock

 
LUBBOCK, TX (December 22, 2022) – The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on County Road 2300 on December 20.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near County Road 7700 shortly after 6:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, troopers and LPD’s Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit responded to the area. They found that a vehicle struck the victim somewhere in the lanes.
 
As a result, emergency crews said the pedestrian died in the incident. Officials did not release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
