One Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Walnut Road in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 22, 2023) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that one died in a motorcycle accident on Walnut Road on August 4.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Owens Avenue around 6:28 AM. Based on a report, an SUV was going east on Owens Avenue at the time of the crash.
 
As the SUV was turning left at the intersection, the motorcycle struck the right side of the vehicle, ejecting the victim.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist sustained grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Police said the SUV driver stayed on the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
 
As of now, the investigation into the crash continues. In addition, no other details are available.
