Motorcycle Rider Fatally Hits Guardrail on Barnes Road at Charlotte Parkway in Colorado Springs

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (June 12, 2023) – The Colorado Springs Police confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on Barnes Road on June 3.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened at Charlotte Parkway at approximately 7:30 PM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a motorcycle eastbound on Barnes at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the rider left the road and hit a guardrail.
 
As a result, the victim sustained grave injuries. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital, where they later died. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s name, pending kin notification.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
